Torch Club members worked at the Samaritan Community Center (SCC) in Rogers to pack, stack and replenish snack packs for children. The snack packs are full of nutritious, yet tasty, kid friendly snacks. Hungry children receive snack packs once a week from the SCC year-round. The SCC serves 4 counties in Northwest Arkansas, reaching over 1,000 children. Members stuffed 1,030 snack packs, providing nutrition for 1,030 children for one week. Torch Club is a character and leadership program for youth ages 11-13. Their work is part of their hunger project of collaborating with other organizations to help further meet the food security need of youth outside our club!
