(Top) Club members made a stunning chemical reaction using milk, food coloring, and soap. They filled a bowl up with milk, then added one drop of each color of food coloring to the center of the milk, the food color dispersed from the center of bowl making a tie-dye effect.
(Bottom) The members also learned the physical characteristics of dry ice, and what happens when you mix it with water. STEM staff Mr. Austin took the Dry Ice and put it in a 2 liter bottle filled with warm water and then closed the lid. The kids were 100 yards away observing this AWESOME reaction.
