The Rogers Keystone Club decided as a group that they wanted to volunteer at the Rogers Animal Shelter. Not only are they going to volunteer their time this Saturday February 20th, they have also been working diligently making homemade cat and dog toys. Each Keystone teen brought gently used and new tube socks and t-shirts to make toys for the animals. Out of those materials the teens stuffed the tube socks with Polly fill and catnip and secured it with a knot at the end for the cats. For the dogs, the teens cut up the shirts in different sections and braided it to make a tug rope toy. Keystone teens are very excited to present their handmade cat and dog toys this weekend as well as getting some animal play time! Keystone not only wants to volunteer their time at the animal shelter but they also want to give back in a very fun and unique way.
