The PAWS Dog Food Drive is a Roger Torch Club’s service project. They will be holding the drive at the Rogers Unit located at 409 S. 8th St. and possibly all Benton County units. Businesses are invited to also host a drive. The Club is collecting any and all types of dog food. The goal is to collect 500 pounds to donate to the Rogers Animal Shelter! The Rogers Unit drive will begin on November 25th and will continue until December 6th. People can drop the food off at the Rogers Boys & Girls Club weekdays between the hours of 2:00 and 6:30 PM.
Another component of the PAWS Project is an adoption event held at the Rogers Animal Shelter on December 7th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The Rogers Animal Shelter has a 52% adoption rate. The Club desires to help increase that number through promoting the shelter at the event. Helpful adoption information, homemade dog treats, hot chocolate… will be available.
