Elisha Scott is a McKinney Unit member who is sweet but quiet. Although generally quiet, he can talk to anyone and has a friendly personality. Elisha’s favorite thing to do at the club is playing pool in the game room. Elisha a huge Star Wars fan. Every day he comes to the Club wearing a different Star Wars shirt. He loves to talk about Star Wars and all of the characters and scenes. For the celebration of the Star Wars premiere, a couple of staff dressed up as some of the Star Wars characters. Mr. Tanner, the Game Room Lead Staff, painted his face like Darth Maul. Upon seeing Mr. Tanner, Elisha was thrilled that one of the staff he sees every day is also a fan of Star Wars. He seemed extremely happy to be able to play pool with “Darth Maul”. When Elisha’s name was called for his ride he gave Mr. Tanner the biggest hug and said “Bye Darth Maul!!” Elisha’ body coordination has been affected by heart and brain surgery; because of this he doesn’t make friends easily. At times, other children make fun of him, but he is brave and confident and never shows anger or retaliation. Relating to staff members is important to him and makes him feel more comfortable being at the club.
